7,8,9,10 July,2026-Skopelos Rebetiko Festival
Kostas and Giorgos-Athens,1982
Following the great success of last year's first post-pandemic festival, the 8th festival of “Days of Rebetiko” will be held on Skopelos from 7/7/2026 to 10/7/2026, by the Cultural and Folklore Association and with the cooperation and support of the Municipality of Skopelos.
The Rebetiko Festival was established as part of the cultural events of Skopelos to honor the memory and the work of the great folk composers of Rebetiko and, at the same time, to project our island’s music tradition to Greece and abroad.
Most importantly, however, this festival aims to preserve, and above all, to keep alive, urban folk music, which is an implicit part of Skopelos’s and Greece’s cultural identity and heritage.
For another year, the festival program will include a wide variety of events, featuring both rebetiko song and performers of the same, who come from Skopelos, Greece and elsewhere.
We invite you all to the place where the heart of Rebetiko pulsates: Skopelos, Sporades.
